Don’t quit alone! There are lots of community events to join in. This will create some excitement and also engage with others who use tobacco that want to quit.
We encourage communities to organize events each year to celebrate World No Tobacco Day in their own way. Examples of such events include: public art work displays, health fairs, anti-smoking walks, feasts, meetings and many more activities.
You can also share your stories to help others quit. Let the community know why you are quitting smoking, when you quit, how you stopped smoking and what it feels like to be tobacco-free. Be part of our community events, share your quit tips and how you managed your withdrawal after quitting.
