QuiT iT! Program

This new and improved Smoke Screening Program is now called QuiT iT! We’ve taken the best elements from Smoke Screening; refined and added to them to make this exciting pilot program only for Nunavut.

Because QuiT iT! is a new pilot project, so only a select number of schools have been chosen for this trial run.

The program asks students to act as film critics. They watch anti-tobacco ads from around the world and vote for their favourite. The most popular ad is displayed throughout the north. The process encourages students to think critically about tobacco use.

The program comes with a teacher’s guide to help educators lead classroom discussions. For more information on QuiT iT!, download the resources below:
